To make this blend we spent a year driving around all the BBQ joints in Texas bottling the atmosphere and reducing it into a powder. Made of with natural hickory smoke extract, this will waft the drift the smoky aroma of Texan plains into your kitchen and turn anyone into a grizzled pitmaster. Use it on pork or chicken or pretty much anything else that needs a seriously fragrant wood-smoke pick-me-up.

Why You’ll Fall in Love with This

Where To Use This

– Rub it all over a pork shoulder before cooking it overnight. Finish off with a mop made of your favourite BBQ sauce mixed with cider vinegar

– Rain it all over a whole chicken before roasting it to perfection. Smother it with a white BBQ sauce made of mayonnaise and cider vinegar and it will taste unreal

– Sprinkle with happy abandon all over some butternut or root veg and roast until it’s charry and beautiful. Pop some pine nuts on top just before it’s finished

    I love BBQ ribs and have been trying different seasonings for years but sometimes it’s too cold for bbq’ing so I do them in the oven. I put the rub on both sides of my ribs and cook them indoors, you can reallyt taste the hickory smoke! The seasoning penetrates the ribs and give them a great flavour. I have also used it on a pork shoulder and slow cooked it for pulled pork sandwiches…yum!
